Seven more Phuket hotels await Bangkok approval to operate as ALSQs, while two key hotels withdraw

PHUKET:-- Seven more hotels in Phuket have been approved by the Phuket Public Health Office (PPHO) and are waiting for approval from Bangkok to start receiving newcomers arriving in the country when international tourists are allowed to land directly in Phuket.

Vegetarian festival underway in many provinces

BANGKOK (NNT) - In Bangkok, Yaowarat is the first place people think of when joining the annual Vegetarian Festival. Each morning, people gradually arrive to shop for a wide variety of products, especially vegetarian food, agricultural protein and fruit at this time of year. However, vendors on the street, say there are fewer people buying vegetarian food this year.

Amazing discoveries continue to be made among the famed Nazca Lines of southern Peru and archeologists recently revealed the never-before seen figure of a giant cat etched into a hillside in the desert.

 

LIMA (Reuters) - Peruvian archaeologists have uncovered a 37-meter-long (120-foot-long) cat etching in a little-explored area of the country's celebrated Nazca Lines UNESCO heritage site which is home to hundreds of gigantic geoglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years.

9,000 people in Tak to undergo testing for Covid-19

Covid-19 hits demand for metal but 'Made in Thailand' measure expected to help recovery

Rescuers yet to find boy, 6, who fell in canal in Si Sa Ket
