domestic travel inside Thailand no more quarantaine?

Recommended Posts

You can go anywhere without any problems. Ok, certain areas in BKK are actually a bit busy ????

Just don't expect the usual entertainment in tourist areas, which are somewhere between quiet and almost dead.

No. And this is a fantastic time to travel around Thailand. Been to Bangkok and Pattaya two months ago, Samui last month, and am in Bangkok now. Wonderful. Silly deals on hotels. Quieter than usual.

Paradise for domestic travel. Support the locals!

Agreed.  A friend and I have been driving out of Bangkok every weekend and exploring the country.

I just came back today from a few days Prachuap Kirhikan, feel safe to say i was the only tourist there!

As usual a beautiful place, very quiet, not many noisy motorbikes, not many soi dogs and no bars and this tends to keep a lot of people away.

One of my favorite hiding places but this time it was difficult to find a place open for breakfast or dinner.

You can tell the locals have given up on foreign tourists, some locals sitting on the boulevard at night but unusually quiet.

last time I was at an airport they didn't even ask me to do the QR code thing.

In June to Samui and July to/from Suvarnabhumi it was still quite annoying/strict.

Would be good if the relax that stuff.

Are you (still) washing your hands, wearing a mask and keeping your distance?

? I was referring to the QR code, registration on misc websites stuff.

To Samui me and others needed assistance from the checkin staff to handle.

I had to hand them the smartphone which I hate.

I don't know how to travel with smartphone with internet access.

Of course mask and hand wash, temp check has not changed.

Only that the planes can now be completely filled.

No more empty seats.

I flew down to Krabi end of Aug and had to do the QR before we could leave the airport. I told the woman my phone couldn't do it, voice only, so she asked for the phone. After about 5 minutes, with everyone waiting behind she realised the problem and told me to fill in a form.

Yes no more empty seats but full of those that think the rules are for others.

Flew out of swampy in September. No QR code only temp checks and masks required on the plane.

actually I have never used Thai cha cha as I am not interested in any government tracking me anywhere.

sign ins stopped after about a week in bkk which was sad because I missed seeing A.Hitler and D. Trump sign ins lol
