Channel 3 picked up on the story that hotel operators on Koh Samui are to present opinions and ideas to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha to run alternative local quarantine on the island.

Some 400 hotels have expressed interest in joining the scheme.

They also want local farmers to be able to supply produce to those quarantined.

They will also be pressing the PM - due to visit on November 2nd as part of a mobile cabinet meeting on the island - about the possibility of building a bridge from the mainland.

The report and video came before a 57 year old French woman tested positive for Covid-19 after undergoing quarantine in Samut Prakan and flying to her home in Samui.

How did she & her family get here ? I’m sure there’s quite a few people would like to know. Plus how safe are the ASQ’s here ?? Are these facilities about keeping the rest of the population safe or about making money?? This one case, shows that there’s a lot more questions than answers. Somebody Who’s quite used to back tracking, is going to have to do some more back tracking. TIT
