Don't!

Why not?

I don't see any on Lazada site yet, none on Gearbest either.

On Amazon they are for sale from the UK but very expensive, over 1000$ and then comes shipping/import fee's on the top.

I think you will have to wait a bit longer.

I bought my last phone (Poco F1) from Lazada and never had any problems.

I am also interested in the Google5 but I want the XL, the 5 is a bit on the small size for me.

Please keep us updated if you find a place to buy one, thanks.

its same spec as oppo a9, (8GB RAM 128GB ROM) which cost 6800 baht on lazada,

but oppo has 25% bigger battery, 5k vs 4k mAh, so it depend how long you are willing to wait on an inferior phone, and possibly how much the total cost is for that phone,

and how much of a stink it raises for you to run out of battery juice

Well the Google has very good cameras with very good AI technology.

Further Google phones are very safe to use, they will get updated as soon as Goggle release an update, other brands are much slower to get it, depending on brand.

Oh yes, 5G as well.

Both reviews below gives it a 4 star rating.

thanks for the replies.

about the phone itself, I know it is expensive. the poco 3 nfc has MUCH better specs but lacks EIS.

lot of < THB 7k phones can be flashed with Pixel Experience ROM too, but as @Pattaya46 pointed, having Google support is a huge thing.

about the logistics; is it possible to buy it -for instance- on google AU? is there a recommended PO Box?

thanks!

Hello, I have bought a Pixel 5 in Tree Mobile in MBK. 24500 bahts in the shop, in Lazada is 600 more.

Ok, now I was at home doing the setup, and I see the charger is american. I know I need an adapter to thai plug. My doubt is about the voltage, I read in the USA the voltage is different.

The electrical info related to input voltage and range should be written on the charger plug.

Thanks for the advises. Ok I bought an adapter and it works well.

Jack the plug I have is not the same of Thailand. So maybe the plug in this phone is not us standard, I don't know.

It's like this the AU plug, so maybe the phone is imported from Australia? I thought was american.

That AU plug is unusual, usually in Thailand they have the US or EU type plugs. I find that the US plug prongs are the most secure in the plug socket here.

As you say perhaps the phones were imported from AU but best to contact tree mobile shop who sold the phone and confirm with them.

Check this article, Australia is one of the few countries in the world where the PIxel 5 was launched so it could have been imported from there.
