geovalin Posted October 25, 2020 Share Posted October 25, 2020 Bilateral trade between Cambodia and Thailand was valued at $5,569 million up to the third quarter of this year, a year-on-year decrease of 19 percent compared to the same period last year. Figures from Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce show that from January to September, Cambodia exported US$958 million to Thailand, sliding down 48 percent. Meanwhile, the Kingdom’s total imports from Thailand decreased by 9 percent, to $4,611 million. The decrease in the two-way trade between both neighbouring countries was largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic which caused trouble for cross-border goods transport.
