Guys.

Just a quickie. Asking advice.

I have used Kaspersky for my computer protection for last 3 years but been told recently my built in windows defender is just as good and I am wasting my money.

I know my way around a computer but not this kind of stuff.

It's not like you need to spend a lot: https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Kaspersky-Windows-Antivirus-Internet-Security-Software/175689/bn_10231876

If you have to ask the question, stick with Kaspersky. If you know your way around, the Windows solution is good enough as part of a layered approach. Some Browsers add extra levels of security.

it all depends what you do on the Internet, if you don't got to dodgy sites,

Windows Defender should be OK,with the addition of say Hitman Pro

which scans your PC when it starts up,its also free,

But if you need extra security, you can get some really good deals on

Ebay UK, for Kaspersky  about a fiver for a years license.
