TR (tourist visa), also known as SETV (single-entry tourist visa), is a visa that allows a single journey to Thailand for the purpose of tourism. On arrival in Thailand, the traveller is granted permission to stay for up to 60 days. Optionally, a 30-day extension of stay can be obtained. The STV (Special Tourist Visa) also allows a single journey to Thailand but the traveller is given permission to stay for 90 days with the option of maximum two 90-day extensions of stay. The traveller must stay for a minimum of 90 days. See this recent topic for more details: https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1188696-tourism-minister-tells-the-chinese-come-to-thailand-stv-is-not-group-tours/ For either visa, check with the Thai embassy or consulate where you plan to apply for details of their requirements. farang51
The requirements are on the page ubonjoe linked to. Please be aware that they update the list of low-risk countries every 14 day, next time this weekend. I have a feeling that Denmark will not be on the list Monday. I am currently trying to get the documents ready to apply for the STV before it is too late. Edited October 28, 2020 by farang51
farang51
If you want the requirements in Danish, I have written about the visa at my Website: https://rejse-til-thailand.dk/visa - under Turistvisa. I am currently working on an article about the STV in case Denmark is still on the low-risk list next week, or if we get back on the list later. I saw a list some time ago from an international organisation; I don't remember where. I think that is the list they use, but I am not sure. It seems they will now make their own list according to The Nation: https://www.nationthailand.com/business/30396709
