webfact
Over 2,000 people affected as floods inundate district in Nakhon Ratchasima By The Nation Nearly 500 houses in the residential areas of Non Sung district in Nakhon Ratchasima province are still affected by inundation, as the district continues to get flooded. Flood waters a metre high have affected more than 2,000 residents in seven villages. Their single-storey houses are inundated while schools in the area also are unable to open. The majority of the water mass came from Chaloem Phra Kiet district while it was running into Mun River, causing it to overflow and aggravate the flooding in other areas. With more water overflowing from the river, the flood crisis in Non Sung district is expected to worsen as the water level will be higher and expand to more areas. Turns out Phangnga is one of the cleanest provinces in Thailand. Different mindset down here. I love it. Every breath I take.
