No, when you die your pension dies.

Unfortunately, not a penny. A few years ago they even stopped the 2,000 Pounds death benefit which I was able to get from my friend's widow only a few years before. 

That said, if you read through the entire pages on Gov.Uk website, there was a clause saying each case would be considered on merit. I made a note of this on my will paperwork and a friend will make a claim for my missus after I've gone.
