You can't make this stuff up.

Add to this, people impersonating politicians (also involved in embezzlement), and you see why Thailand is a laughing stock to other countries.

Part of your comment is correct however the nonsense in your statement ... Thailand is not a laughing stock to other countries ...  why continue to Thai bash every time you open your mouth ?  Other countries are not concerned with Thailand's political situation or their government or there citizens. Other countries are concerned about their own citizens and their own way forward. So saying that Thailand is a laughing stock to other countries is laughable ... Other countries don't give a hoot what Thailand does inhouse.  .....    lol

Negative stories about Thailand are a daily occurrence in the foreign press, you just can't read/view them due to Thai censorship. Get a VPN and your eyes will be opened.

Not sure what the distinction is between the real officers and the fake officers. I guess one group fleeces officially, and the the other group fleeces without a real badge.

Are the guys in black and white real or just shop window mannequins ?

Seems to be "de rigeur" lately in press photos to have a few "commandos" in the  background. But why two of them are wearing arctic camouflage in the tropics beats me.

I'm confused, who are the impersonators, the ones standing or sitting ?

I think this was the identity parade where the victims had to pick out the fake officers.
