(I’m here meeting a lady friend), she was at work all day Sunday. met my first drinking companion at 12:30, he started banging on about COVID 19 being a hoax. I moved tables. next bloke I got chatting to turned out to be a Holocaust denier and a speed freak... I moved upstairs. the next bloke I had a chinwag with turned out to be a fraudster working for and Indian call center. I went back downstairs. finally the last bloke who struck up a conversation turned out to be skint and unable to pay for his beers. the cheeky sod asked me to sort him out, I refused and the police were called.. got me thinking is everyone in Bangkok off their bleedin nut or what ??? ???? Nearly each and ever time I speak with someone who is on their own they turn out to be a fruit-cake ! I should know better, but even when out with friends and someone (on their own) attempts to strike up a conversation we are too polite to tell them to get lost. It always ends up with me (and my friends) thinking what a nutter and we have to move away. To answer to your question: Is everyone in Bangkok a nutter? - Of course not, but there’s a higher probability of those who are on their own being out there on the fringes of the normal scale !!!!
