Looking for Product Recommendation From Knowledgeable TV'ers

My little furry 4 legged security system and office buddy seems to have picked up some annoying fleas.  I have tried two different Flea and Tick Sprays to no avail.  If you have your own Furry Buddy and are able to give a favorable recommendation for such a really working flea  and tick spray, please give me a name.  Thank You.

We typically take the pet to the groomer's to get washed, cut and combed to remove a majority, then off the doc-in-a-box (vet) for the cheaper version of liquid flea poison on the back of the neck. Some years we also have to spray the yard if the flea population is out of control.

We have always used Whisher flea & tick powder for our 5 and it works very well.
