LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Full House" actress Lori Loughlin began a two-month prison sentence for her role in a vast college admissions fraud scheme to help her daughters gain entry into a top U.S. university, a prison official said on Friday.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Harvey Weinstein was sued on Friday by the former production assistant who the disgraced movie producer was convicted at trial of having sexually assaulted.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysia Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin called on lawmakers on Saturday to ensure the country's 2021 budget is passed to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Calls to give foreigners who buy a condo residency in Thailand

The head of the Thai condominium association told the Thai financial media that she has recommended to the government to give foreigners migrant status if they purchase a condo of 10 million baht or more.

Labour Minister and TAT discuss tourism stimulus measures - foreign tourists may benefit

Daily News reported that Thailand's Labour Minister Supattanapong Phanmeechao had met with the chief of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Yuttasak Suphasorn Friday to discuss measures to stimulate tourism both internally and for foreign visitors.
