Just for fun I looked up that photo. I was wrong though, they are going away from the beach. Soi Post Office I think as can see the Malibu cabaret at top of Soi. Pink towels, but it's a long time since I took that photo, and memory not great.

They were likely red once!

250 people on a floating raft in the sea at night. What could possibly go wrong?

I remember how they ruined my day out on Larn with those <deleted> speedboats coming right up to the beach where ever they pleased every few minutes.   No sympathy from me.

What about the recent 33 or 39 that arrived in Thailand they must be out of quarantine now and itching to spend the 400k that TAT says they have to spend per person ......they not reach pattaya yet ??

Ok we have had the moto taxies and speedboats . Now how about completing the lowlife trilogy with some "meter" taxi Schadenfreude

OK...I am from Pattaya, what is a meter?

A floating restaurant like the "Jumbo" in Aberdeen harbour HK might entice a few - bit expensive though given the likely return.

Am I wrong, or was there something similar in Pattaya bay a few years back?

There were restaurants on two Penang style ferries moored near Bali Hi and the guests went out on boats. I wasn't aware that they had gone, but it's been a while since I was there.

The cost is 400 baht a head for adults and half price for children 120cms to 140 cms tall.

What, when your young child is 141cm tall or an adult 139cm small?

The boat operators may be unhappy,  but the sea slugs, urchins and everything else that humans consider inedible will be delighted.

For this, he wants to fill the boats with those "special" tourists. They will clean the sea from those "inedible" creatures by eating them.
