webfact
Yet again! Foreign boy attacked by soi dog on beach at Ao Nang video screenshot Channel 3 news reported that a foreign boy was attacked by a stray dog on the beach at Ao Nang while walking with his father. Before the officials could arrive the father had taken his son to the hospital with a nasty gash to his calf. Food and Beverage manager at the Golden Beach Resort Sompong Thiankaew, 56, said he heard the cries of the boy and went to help. The incident happened in Moo 2. The media reported that the local council have been trying to address the problem of strays on the beach after many similar attacks. But the problem is far from over. In fact it may be worse after workers made redundant due to the pandemic left the area and left their dogs to fend for themselves. Ao Nang is one of the most popular tourist areas in the South of Thailand in Krabi province. It would normally be getting full at this time of the year especially with Scandinavian tourists. Maybe it should become rocket science, then the dogs could be fired into space. Then we could all breathe easily - apart from the dogs. Popular Post richard_smith237
Stray dogs need to be removed from any public area. The problem is solvable and with so many people out of work and struggling to make ends meet there is an endless resource of people to help assisting in removing these animals. This issue could have easily been resolved 20 or 30 years ago. It can easily be resolved this year so its not a problem next year. The real issue is that those in positions of decision making power simply do not care and thats the issue with so many of these ‘outstanding issues’ Thailand suffers.

On the other hand, slander a person or a business and the Wrath of Khan will descend upon your head. Pathetic.

Half of the money raised will go into the TAT's pockets while the rest will be used to create a panel to study the effects a possible new job description called: "The Dog Catcher". An additional panel will be set up to look at the efficacy of building dog kennels where the strays can be housed until either adopted by a loving family or euthanized......................... 1 1

That's a bit of a catch 22 situation. You want a visa for medical tourism, but you won't meet the requirements until you arrive.
