Popular Post rooster59
The power of music: British pianist lulls the monkeys to sleep in Lopburi Image: 77kaoded A special concert was put on by a British artist and pianist to relieve stress among the monkeys of Lopburi in central Thailand. Fifty nine year old Paul Barton's piano playing was a hit with the monkeys and the locals after he was brought in by an auto parts shop. He drew quite a crowd as the monkeys played along to the tunes. Some even nodded off to the melodies. Mr Barton is a resident of Bangkok and has a Thai wife called Khwan according to his Facebook page that says he studied Fine Art at the Royal Academy of Arts, London. In the past he has also played piano for fierce and blind elephants to relieve their stress.
