The Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) is to hand over to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) samples from 11.5 tonnes of illegal substances found in Chachoengsao province on November 12.

The latest measures by the Bank of Thailand (BOT) designed to encourage capital outflows would have some impact on the value of the baht but they would not be effective in controlling the Thai currency's rise, said Anusorn Tamajai, a former BOT director and ex-dean of Rangsit University’s Faculty of Economics.

10M+ people could join gov’t 50:50 co-pay campaign in 2nd phase

BANGKOK (NNT) - Following the better than expected feedback on the government’s 50:50 or half-price co-pay general purchases subsidy campaign, the Ministry of Finance is now considering offering this benefit to more than 10 million people in the campaign’s second phase.

Khon Kaen Sugar Industry predicts 10% rise in sales next year
