Amazon driver labelled 'hero' for following dance request on delivery instructions

Recommended Posts

An Amazon delivery driver has gone viral after a doorbell camera captured the incredible moment she followed a customer's delivery instructions challenging her to dance during the drop off.

TikTok user Mowhawkdog used yellow tape to mark off an area on the floor in perfect view of the camera, sticking a note to the wall reading:

'Amazon deliveries: Let's play! Stand in yellow square, look at camera and do a 5-10 second *dance* for TikTok.'

Footage shows three drivers come and go without taking part, as one avoids stepping in the square altogether and another wags a finger at the camera to indicate he won't be taking part.

An arrow was added to try and encourage drivers to step into the yellow box, and just when it looked like all hope was lost, the camera caught the moment the customer had been waiting for.

A fourth driver leaves a parcel at the door before stepping back into the box, looking into the camera and delivering a perfectly choreographed dance to Lottery by K Camp.

The driver gives a peace sign to the camera before leaving and the customer captioned the video:

"This Amazon delivery made my day!!", and added: "She's my hero! Thanks for playing!!"

The heartwarming clip has been viewed more than four million times and even found its way back to the driver, who commented to say:

"Thank you for capturing this moment! I'm all for the good vibes when nicely asked. It was fun! Btw Amazon IS HIRING YALL."

The customer revealed she had added the music for the video and the driver had actually danced perfectly in time despite having to do so in silence - and thousands of people praised her efforts.

So, the job, that she's paid to do - is to deliver parcels as fast as possible, but she takes time out to dance?  Sounds like a disciplinary issue.

Yes, I come over like the Grinch, but these days a lot of people would like that job and wouldn't take the time out.

HERO is just a word (call them what you will)...... BUT the story is an indication that there are still some fun-loving people around.....

In my opinion this story contains a message to many........
