The mistake was caused by an error in the scientific process, he added.

The Thai shipment was seized and tested, with the results checked by scientists from the Justice Ministry and the Forensic Department before the “haul” was announced to the press.

aside from family/government gang ties and stupidity,  one has to wonder what other ethical criteria they use  to hire/put in place these people on such important/critical jobs... hope they use a different ethical criteria when hiring people to detect/test for the virus and consequent vaccines

The raid on the warehouse in the eastern province followed a tip-off from officials in Taiwan, who told the Narcotics Control Board they had seized 300 kilos of ketamine, but more was on its way to Thailand. The Thai shipment was seized and tested, with the results checked by scientists from the Justice Ministry and the Forensic Department before the “haul” was announced to the press.

The intell came from Taiwan, rest assured the 300K that the Taiwanese have seized isn't a cleaning agent. So where do you think the rest has gone? Or is this just the cynic in me

They both Thai.

Try harder kid.

Ok, so what you’re saying is that anything Thais do is automatically rubbish, right?

In that case you’ve lost all credibility anyway because blanket statements like that are never true!

What happened grandpa? Did a young sexy Thai thing relieve you of all your belongings and now you’re bitter and on a Thai hate trip?

More likely the 'real' K has been shifted on to BKK's 'Godfather' for a nice earner. Have to say though...they'd be mad not to sell it on.

glad you would be comfortable with increased corrpution, and drug misuse

Or the balls to con them...

excuse the skeptic in me but Taiwan warned them of the shipment after finding 300 kgs themselves....

Just think of it if the government coffers are almost empty, they ar broke and need some cash flow for the future, then along comes a nice stash of ketamine.

Just saying...

Nothing new with that, USA has done it many times in the past ie see Air America, the Contra deals etc.

Wonder how many folks are languishing in Thai prisons after being convicted of drug offenses for stuff like baking powder, baking soda, etc etc...

Their lab work here appears to leave quite a bit to be desired....

Or by being found 'guilty' by the fake GT-200 bomb scanners they were using to search for drugs and explosives in the South.

Justice Minister Somsak Thepsutin has admitted that the chemical seized in what was initially billed as the biggest drugs haul in Thailand’s history is not ketamine, but a harmless cleaning agent.

Even dead bats started laughing about them.

Would the Justice Minister lie -

No, never, couldn't, not possible, wouldn't be ethical - - but this Thailand, so no need to say anymore.

Too big to be caught...

The stock was carefully stored in a safer location and replaced by a cleaning agent.

For 1 bilion US$ the investors will not give up..... who are the investors ?

Maybe it was the real thing and then replaced by BIB. The investors?

The Army seems to invest a lot these days.
