Biden needs a bit of a reality check - his country is in disarray yet he is interfering in an ally's sovereignty already. Look Joe, take all your <deleted> out of Lakenheath and Mildenhall, Fairford and the other 10 bases and go camp on Merkel's doorstep and see if SHE'll have you if you don't want to trade with us.

We did fine with Australia and New Zealand before, we buy and sell already with many non-EU countries and non-US. We'll do fine while you try and save your sinking ship.

It would not surprise anyone if to keep trading harmony the Republic of Ireland didn't elect to leave the EU in order to harmonise the border again, especially as the EU is clearly imploding and losing our money is going to hasten that. Germany and France have already refused to pick up the financial slack and no deal exit by the UK means no more money from us too which is why Bojo is so unperturbed by a no deal exit.

It's Biden who needs a reality check?

Britain’s borrowing hits peacetime high as Covid fuels economic plunge not seen for 300 years

  • The British economy is forecast to contract by 11.3% in 2020, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).
  • The OBR also forecast that borrowing is set to reach a total of £394 billion this year ($526 billion), 19% of GDP, its highest level in peacetime history.

More like a bucket full of heritage.

And not unique as POTUS as he is one of at least 22 POTUS' who have Irish roots.

His heritage comes from two families (Blewitts and Finnegan) who settled in the US from Ireland in the mid-1850's.

Ref. The Sun 11 Nov 2020.

Also note that Biden is Catholic, another Irish dimension.

Biden is American no matter how much you doth protest, so by your reckoning my Viking Heritage gives me the right to get my Fjord Escort out of the garage and travel to Norway and stick my nose in their internal affairs?

Biden pretending to be Irish again.

He should mind his own business. He has enough domestic problems without sticking his nose into other people's affairs.

Yes, he's busy getting back to the swamp. Snouts in the trough etc.

Biden, you may be interested to learn, is not the only Irish American.  The Irish American population is about six times the size of Ireland.

A lot of us look forward to the not too far-off day when Sinn Fein forms its first government in the Republic.

The "Irish" Americans want to sort their own problems out first, starting with the paedo priests. I wonder what percentage of them claim Irish heritage. And to remember that they are Americans and nothing else.

One good thing about them is that according to the New York AOH they do wear the Poppy for Remembrance. Unlike their even more deluded friends in the British Isles, who refuse because they say it is British.

One day somebody will educate them and they will discover that it's origins are Canadian.

Brexit.?.......... What will be will be.

Thanks for not addressing political realities.

Totally irrelevant.

And the card he’s playing is an ace.

The UK meanwhile has a handful of nothing and everyone knows it.

The UK/ EU negotiations  end on Decenter 31 st , Biden is due to become POTUS on 20 January .

His point of view is currently irrelevant and the UK will talk to him once he officially gets the job .

We will deal with the EU first and then the USA , once they get settled
