Kwasaki 10,658
There's MG thread just recently on a truck which has good reviews. If your talking cars I see lot around where live. One Thai guy I spoke to had a Union Jack on the roof which he pointed out, I said I would want the St Georges English flag but he was happy with the car, it was a small car can't remember the name. 1

Asquith Production 213
I believe somebody asked the same question some months ago. One guy who seemed very knowledgeable did a lengthy reply pointing to the fact that the power plant was somehow derived from G.M. Anyway it was a positive reply about M.G. 1
Popular Post Jorgendk 61
I own and MG 3. Smart car. Have had it 1 year from new. Very satisfied with it. A few smaller things could be better, but you can't have everything, Handy small car. Goes well, good GPS, and auto pilot, etc. Very good service. The MG 5 is bigger, but as it has the same engine, it must be more sluggish.

Good taste. but a Chinese MG , would not jump on it personally. having said that, when the first funny looking Japanese car showed up in Europe, Toyota it was I think, people went out to look at it and almost all thought what a piece of junk. However, now they have some of the lowest breakdown rates, and left many European car brands biting the dust. 1

Popular Post terryw 938
I learnt to drive in a MG Midget. Great little car from the days when UK cars really were British.
Popular Post twocatsmac 2,772
I will say good. My girlfriend bought a new 2018 MG ZS smart, (5 door hatch) against my advise because being a Chinese car it must be rubbish right? So far 27,000 kms later I couldn’t have been more wrong. Its comfortable with the 2 tone brown faux leather seats and has been 100% reliable. Its better than most of the rivals in its class even with the unrefined non turbo 1.5 engine. My judgement here is based on load carrying, roomy interior and pleasant automatic ride. Im a pickup guy so still wouldn’t buy one for myself but it’s coped with jungle trips on red soil roads for many miles (good ground clearance) and Ive slept in it numerous times with the aircon running. She bought it with her elderly parents in mind for to and fro to the hospital and clinics and she likes the “British” MG heritage. 5 2
ronaldo0 1,713
Looks like a good car for running around town in or for the wife to drive because of size . Only thing I seen about it negative really was the lack of power in some , but if you are only doing short drives or around town why does that matter .
Jorgendk 61
The MG 3 seem to have all the power you would want. The automatic gearbox also seem to work fine. But I could imagine the 1,5 engine being too small for the MG 5. Biggish problem I find, is that the car do not understand English when you speak to it. Only Thai. The GPS speak English OK. hlj 83
my sister-in-law bought one 2 years ago new. It stays in the shop more than on the road.
