A casting call for a film to be shot in Germany about the princess, with Kristen Stewart in the lead role, has stipulated that youngsters wanting to play Prince William at 11 must have a European passport. The notice says the candidate’s passport cannot be “British European due to new Brexit rules from January 1, 2021”. It was speculated that the producers of Spencer wanted to avoid the complication of getting working visas to cover three months next year.
