This is when the moon moves into and is partially obscured by the earth's shadow. It will be visible for the last time this year in Asia, Australia, Southern Africa and North America. In Thailand it will begin at 2.32 pm and continue until 6.53 pm. The eclipse will be at its height at 4.42 pm after which the moon will slowly emerge from the shadow.
