Lake Palmer
I've been trying to find this medicine to help insomnia but no pharmacies have it, only offering me tramadol instead, and most have never heard of drug/brand I live in small city full of pharmacies, is there another name it goes by? I've already tried the antihistamines, benzodiazepines and natural remedies recommended on here but none of them have helped

Lake Palmer
thanks tried another few pharmacies and they said it was prescription from a doctor only, so must be worse than the tramadol they were offering
Sheryl
The MIMS listings no longer show the classification so I can't check. But also possible that it simply requires a first class pharmacist on duty at all times and the pharmacies you went to don't have one. In small towns there is often only 1 or 2 places that do. Sounds right to me. I bought a pack of Desirel from Fascino's in Pattaya about a month ago. OP, you didn't mention Amitriptyline, suggest you try it. A mere 8 mg will work for me, little hangover. But I don't have a big problem.
Sheryl
He may run into same problem with that if he is going to pharmacies that do not have a "real" pharmacist reliably on duty OP would help if you indicated what town you are in
Neeranam
I'm very surprised they haven't heard of it. I suggest going to the local psychiatric hospital, it will be much cheaper.
