Trump questions whether Supreme Court would hear election challenge as options dwindle

IMO it's about money. As soon as Trump concedes, the flow of cash from gullible donors will dry up. So he will keep up the claim the election was stolen, when the facts say he actually got a record voter turnout for a losing candidate too.

I'm not sure about that.  Millions are leaving Fox News as it's become too "truthful" for them?  Not bashing the other side enough?  Not falling for Trump's lies like they use to?  Not sure, but OANN (which has been kicked off YouTube for conspiracy Theories) and Newsmax are now the choice for those who live in an alternate reality.  And these are the ones who still think the election was stolen and are still donating to Trump.

I'm confident that this is just a ploy of President Trump's to catch the libs off guard and stage an end run around them on his way to the Supreme Court and his reelection.

Perhaps he has had a discrete "gypsy's  warning" that the Supreme Court are not going to play ball?

If so, any last minute "run around" is more likely to involve disrupting and obstructing the electoral college vote, (perhaps that is what all the courtroom and other  shenanigans are about), the aim being for the whole business to end up in Congress. One State one vote, bingo, home and dry!

Not being pedantic, but, ‘Impeached, One Term Loser.’

If he loses this time it doesn't mean that he can't run in 2024. He may choose not to for the sake of his family, but if he does, won't that be a buzz for CNN- 4 more years to keep the ratings up, 4 more years of Trump, Trump, Trump. Don't think Biden will be happy with Trump looking over his shoulder waiting for the slightest mistake or slip up to berate him with, having big rallies to keep his base energised, and 4 years of beating the "stolen election" drum. Oh my, what a great thought- 4 years of putting the Democrats through what he has had the past 4 years- payback.

He might even start his own web based tv channel to constantly berate the Democrats. The best may be yet to come.

The election campaign begins January 21.

Trump was a huge boon for media outlets.  From both sides.  But IMHO, the dodgy conservative ones got the most benefit.  Though the NY Times reported incredible gains in readership.

Trump's history for a majority of Americans.  And will become less and less important over the coming months.  Just like all outgoing presidents.

Who beat the stolen election drum?  Only Trump's conspiracy theory loving base.  As reported by the dodgy right wing media.  Nobody on the left said it was stolen, just rigged by the dodgy EC...again.

Doubt Trump will live to 2024.  He's overweight, probably had a stroke recently, and has a horrible diet.  I'm no fan of Biden, but he sure looks better than Trump.

Digging the hole called delusion ever deeper?

The foundation of his presidency was built on sand, and sand doesn't make good walls either. Just a warning.

Now is the time to stop excavation and attempt to salvage personal integrity.

As for best being yet to come, take heart in the fact that it can't get any worse than it is now for him......well, if we ignore the legal morass he is facing and his accelerating mental decline.

Now would be the right time for Melania to take a settlement and get out while he still has two dimes to rub together. Is it too late for her to cut a deal with the Witness Protection Program and just disappear?

Sadly, the rest of his family can't divorce him. With Rudi's help maybe they can push something  through the Supreme Court? Making history with family law could only enhance his legacy.

Your premise is based on the assumption Trump will have funds to do all this with. He'll have creditors dunning him, and lawsuits aplenty to deal with. Unless lawyers have completely lost their marbles, they will all be demanding payment up front before they take on any case he is defending.

A web-based TV channel is a possibility, but again it takes money. After January 20, he won't be able to milk the American taxpayer.

It cost $3 million to run an unsuccessful challenge in Pennsylvania, his funding is drying up.

For a minute I thought you were talking about Biden.

Oh come on. Look at any TV interview with Trump in the last month, he's babbling. Just lashes out if he gets a question he doesn't like. One-trick pony, I was robbed.

Biden might be 4 years older, but he is 100 times more coherent than Trump.

Later, however, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani reportedly told One America News Network that the legal team was still weighing which case might be appropriate to pursue at the top court.

Is Rudy stringing Trump along with false hopes so that he and his lawyers continue to reap the high wages he demanded. Trump is like a blind fool feed by false promises and advises. His interview with Maria Bartiroma illustrate and simply hilarious when told that his cases have no standing (locus standi) and he question as to why he as a President has no standing. Lol. This guy is a fool trying to be smart.

There's a little more light at the end of this funnel as Trump runs amok while running out of options.....

The Supreme Court wont be able to get that "massive dump" out of his diapers nor change the formula for his bottle so we're just going to have to let him cry himself to sleep until  2024

Trump blames his loss on ‘big massive dumps’ — and is now reportedly planning to kick off a 2024 campaign during Biden’s inauguration

I'd like to be the first to sing him a lullaby

"Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye"
