BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand was racing to track down about 200 people in its northern provinces on Monday to stop a potential coronavirus outbreak, after three Thai nationals entered the country illegally from Myanmar and tested positive days later.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's central bank will hold a briefing on Dec. 9 to unveil additional measures to contain the baht, an official said on Monday, blaming both short- and long-term factors for the currency's strength.

Thai economy shrank further in October, central bank says

In October this year, Thailand’s economy contracted at a higher rate compared to the previous month due mainly to the fading of temporary factors and last year’s high base effect, Chayawadee Chai-Anant, senior director at the Bank of Thailand (BOT), said on Monday.

Thai PM says he will respect ruling of Constitutional Court, whatever the outcome

Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said today that he will accept and respect the verdict of the Constitutional Court, expected this Wednesday, whatever the outcome and he has not thought about a Plan B, in case the verdict goes against him.

Cancer institute warns people against blindly believing internet posts on herbal cure
