Many main roads in the province were impassable due to high levels of water, and schools have announced that they will remain closed for fear of flash floods. The Northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand and the South coupled with the influence of a depression in South China Sea has been hitting Songkhla with heavy rain since Monday.
