Are low profile tyres fire hazards? How would you know that this pickup wasn't serviced properly?

Paint covering every surface in the vehicle, plastic bed liner, perhaps, upholstery, carpets, tyres, wiring loom...? Having to wait some time for the fire service to arrive probably contributed also. RobU
Yesterday in my home town of Hull in the UK a high end BMW spontaneously caught fire in a car park. The report reminded me so much of Thailand and made me feel very sad.
