what i need to exit thailand at BKK to ZRH with swiss airlines

i could not find any topic here


my friend (swiss) will fly soon to switzerland with swiss airlines!

the travel office, where he booked the ticket told him, he will need

 

a) a fitforfly attest

b) a covid-19 test

 

otherwise he cannot fly out of bangkok - he cannot even fly on domestic flights without this tests!

 

true or not - could not find anything online!

There is no regulation from the Thai side. The things mentioned are required only for entering the country, not leaving.

 

He needs to check entry requirements for Switzerland (if any) and also requirements (if any) of Swiss Airtllines.

Swiss citizens can enter Switzerland (via airport) at ANY time.

Depending on the originating country he might have to undergo quarantine.

What native language is your friend (German, French, Italian?).

There is plenty of information on the net.

Otherwise I would really suggest contacting Swiss airlines and the Swiss embassy (website) as first sources.

him is real swiss and him speaks write and understand swissgerman, german and english and some other languages!

he wrote already to the swiss embassy - awaiting the answer soon!

why not just call Swiss' office in BKK airport or its headquarters?

this is not the problem, the problem is actually that the girl / woman at the travel agency gave him all this "s - h - i - t -" information and he feels a bit unsafe ...! the booking is done - he has the ticket!

called to swiss airlines - no problems (information - 7.12.20) and here the answer in german from the swiss embassy in bangkok (8.12.20)
