The tent with piles of cases of beer displaying logos of a famous brand was not allowed as the beach is a public space. Manager reported that Dr Suriya Khuharat of the Prachuap Khiri Khan provincial health authority and other agencies responded after complaints were received on the Line app. Local officials were unable to sanction such a facility and would face severe penalties if it had been allowed to go ahead. Picture: Manager Online Failure to act against the beer tent would have been a punishable dereliction of duty. It was unclear whether those who set up the tent would face prosecution. Manager was at pains not to say what the brand of the beer was, but it was obvious from their uncensored photos, notes Thaivisa. The authorities did the right thing as well , just asked for the erection not to be used and for it to be removed .
