webfact Posted December 15, 2020 Share Posted December 15, 2020 Video: "Spidermia" jumps on husband's car abandoning kids after marital tiff Picture: Daily News Thai social media was abuzz after a video was posted online showing a woman hanging onto a Honda Jazz as it drove off startling many people at a busy Kanchanaburi market. The woman was the driver's wife or "mia" and they were having an argument - Daily News called the spirited lady "Spidermia". Witness Jampee, 57, a street restaurant owner in Dan Makham Tia district, said she saw the car moving along the road with the woman on a motorcycle with two kids - a boy and a girl aged about 7 and 8 - on the back. She was in hot pursuit. Picture: Daily News She tried to get her husband to stop by banging on the window but he didn't. She then cut in front and parked the bike to hinder his progress. She then jumped on the hood and banged again and he drove off with her attached. Police were called and found the children abandoned by the road. The cops said it was a marital tiff. After contacting relatives the woman at the center of the drama told them it had all been resolved and there was no assault for them to investigate. They had all gone home.
