No more than any other European country, IMO, and at least the population had some freedom while other countries were locking innocent people up.

NZ is the proof that lockdowns etc do work!

LOL. NZ has escaped ( more or less ) because it's an island nation far from everywhere else ( no illegals arriving by boats ) and closed the border ( more or less ). To say that it was the lockdown is too early as the facts are not yet in.

Most people on talkback radio apparently think the government has been too lax by allowing ANYONE in, and there are regular reports of infections being found in quarantine facilities. It was just a matter of time before an infected person was released, as has happened. It should not have happened.
