MSPs vote to 'refuse consent' for Brexit deal

"MSPs have voted to reject the post-Brexit trade deal agreed between the UK and the EU, calling instead for a "pause" in the process to reconsider."

93 to 30 - every single MSP except for the nasty party voted to reflect the majority wishes of the Scottish people to reject Brexit. Unfortunately, the views of Scots are meaningless if they don't chime with those of English voters.

How can this be correct? The Express tells us daily that Sturgeon is hated, incompetent and on her way out of office with an impending swing to the Tories of epic proportions. As do our English Nationalist Brexiteers.

Nicola Sturgeon is best performing party leader, says UK-wide poll

The First Minister proved more popular throughout the UK than Boris Johnson (37 per cent) and Labour leader Keir Starmer (40 per cent) in a poll of 2,003 Brits conducted by Opinium.

A Scottish breakdown shows 57 per cent (a +24 per cent rating) of people in Scotland approve of the way Ms Sturgeon is handling her role.

The poll also finds 65 per cent of people in Scotland disapprove of the way Boris Johnson has fulfilled his role as Prime Minister.
