ukdog
Hi George, I am posting here in keeping with your directions. I see that the other thread has been locked. "Unfortunately you are right, I have just tried some of our admin-accounts and everything is gone, and the serviceprovider we buy this webmailsystem from don't answer and probably don't give a ****" Is the reply I got from thailandexpat Customer Service. I suggest that as they/you cannot get a response from the provider it is no wonder my own inquiries go unheeded. I think that my informing others who may not have visited their box as regular as myself is reasonable. I have also lost all the details of the address book, suppliers, shippers etc. The webmail was offered as service to this board and washing ones hands when a problem arises is not the best response. ukdog
Thank you for the reply George, I have attempted to contact Netmongol multiple times, (over 40 messages to date), without a response. I suggest that anyone else in the same position accepts the facts and saves themselves some time by not bothering. dog
dfwbkk
Not trying to steer users away from this service, but I think the problems with Yahoo last week stemmed from their upgrade activities. They now upped the Mailbox max for the free service to 100 MB and changed the user interface somewhat (minor changes really). If you need more they sell you a 2 GB (!) service for 800 bath/yr...not bad. If nothing else, an indication of where free email-services are heading . /// DFW
george
We are experiencing serious quality issues with the third party email provider we are using for the Thailand Expat webmail service. We have been unable to get an answer from the provider http://www.netmongol.com - they simply do not answer our support request emails. With reference to the Terms and Conditions you agreed to at signup, http://www.thaivisa.com/webmail_terms.0.html - we are discontiuning this free webmail service from June 30, 2004 "VI. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE: Company and Partner reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice to User. User agrees that Company, Partner and their third party service providers shall not be liable to User or any third-party for any modification or discontinuance of the Service." If you want to keep your existing webmail address, please follow the instructions in your thailandexpat.com INBOX now.
