Congrats UK!   You have gone from being a big fish in a big pond to a little fish in a big pond.   I respect the democratic right of a country, but choosing to diminish yourself in

As anyone with half a brain could see that a deal would happen at the last minute. I and many others who voted leave on here predicted it (It wasn't difficult) even though I wanted a no deal and compl

Congrats to all the Pom Brexiters on here. You got the sovereignty of your country back, and the rights of free trade. Well done.

..and remember th current UK / EU trade deal only covers goods. 80% of UK GDP is services which are not covered. Hence the problems for musicians. Sevices also include finance, banking and intellectual properties. much of this needs free movement of labour which has ended.

We don’t care about moaning musicians. If they are any good they can get a visa.

We do care about free movement of labour and the end of euro migration into U.K.

French truckers call for strike action over effects of Covid rules and Brexit

The unions have called for an urgent meeting with French transport minister Jean-Baptiste Djebbari to address their concerns, saying: "If the government prefers to ignore the distress which affects all of the members of the hauliers branch at suffering successive and brutal degradation of their working conditions due to the health and economic situation that has been prevailing in our country for many months, that is not the case for our unions."

OPINION: Eurostar is a vital service for both France and the UK and should be saved

Eurostar is 10% owned by a British investment firm and 90% by French / Quebec companies, including 55% by state train company SNCF, so they can't expect much help from the UK - they got out in March 2015. Likewise, the "British" freight companies are owned in Germany and Sweden.

IN A RUTTE

Smug Brexit-bashing Dutch PM Mark Rutte forced to QUIT along with entire cabinet over child benefit scandal

The Dutch tax office also said many of the families were targeted based on their ethnic or dual nationalities.

Orlando Kadir, an attorney representing around 600 families in a lawsuit against politicians, said people had been targeted "as a result of ethnic profiling by bureaucrats who picked out their foreign-looking names"

It seems racism and discrimination is rife in the Netherlands
