Everybody knows they don't exist, especially the police, that's why they got raided on occasion. Haven't heard of a local one being raided since the new government took charge quoting they are going to stamp out gambling, and force everybody to pay the correct price for lottery (government gambling) tickets as the going rate even in lottery shops here is circa 100B, I assume that they have now reached to correct price and 80B was always wrong. Oldie
Here some more development on this story: “I insist there are no gambling dens in Rayong,” provincial police chief Paphatdet Ketphan said Sunday. “It was only a place where people engaged in illegal gambling.” His explanation was apparently insufficient to convince the central police force. Paphatdet was removed and sent to an inactive post on Monday, pending an investigation. The order was signed by national police commissioner Suwat Chaengyodsuk, who chided Paphatdet for trying to mislead the public." Lacessit
I am wondering when the numbnuts in charge are going to see the common thread - illegal activity = rise in coronavirus cases. Gambling dens, covert border crossings at Mae Sai, exploitation of Burmese, Cambodian and Lao migrant workers. It's not rocket science.
