Popular Post webfact
Tourists complain about Koh Samui scenic viewpoint Thai TV Channel 7 featured a scenic viewpoint on Koh Samui that is in a dangerous state of repair. The area in question is the Lad Koh viewpoint that is popular with tourists between Chaweng and Lamai beaches. There are hanging wires all over the place, broken switches and bits of duct tape holding it all together. Thai tourists said that it was dangerous. In addition the whole area is in a shocking state of disrepair with plants growing over railings and broken pieces. The authorities have been called on to act. GeorgeCross
we used to like swimming off the rocks at that point. its a shame its been let go. one would have thought now would have been a perfect time to spruce this kind of attraction up, not let it go Edited December 31, 2020 by GeorgeCross 1

brianthainess
This is everywhere all over Thailand, especially with electric switch boxes left open at kids height, hand rails loose, missing, I thought the complaint was going to be its not scenic enough. Tropicalevo
I did not realise that it was supposed to be a tourist attraction. I thought that it was just a snack stop. ???? I have driven past there a few times this year and there has been no one there. A few years ago, the staff were on their annual 'day trip' to take them to Samui's tourist places (where the locals never go). All they did at this place was to buy snacks and ice creams.
