I am trying to make a mortar mix for use in building a pizza oven. Sand and portland cement are of course easy to find, but does anyone know where to buy Fire Clay (powdered clay) and Hydrated Lime (calcium hydroxide; Ca(OH)2) available locally?

Any leads much appreciated. Thank you   ????

Hi , Do you need the lime for laying regular bricks ? If so then use masonry cement ,available at most building supply shops .It's usually in the bags with blue lettering. What kind of bricks are you using for the actual oven ?
