Had a bit of a Hawaiian feel and dive shop attached to it. With sand on the floor to complete the beach feel - which was quite annoying. That was the one when you turned hard right from the escalator. It was right out front the short time hotel. A good place to sit and watch the world go by in Nana Plaza. Were they playing anywhere else? I think the band was called Music of the Heart Band. They put on a good show. I think they left Thailand and ended up in the Caribbean but that was 1-2 years ago. Right side escalator up, circle back right to the corner. 'The Big Mango', good bar, good chow. Eventually moved down the soi, the first alleyway on the left. It was good down there, big premises, several floors, good value for drinks and food, and they put on some good party nights. Had a steady clientele. Some other good old places in the area including the Crown Royal. I don't know how they survive as tastes have changed and most customers have moved on. Many journalists from the Post and Nation used it as it would always be open.
