Naew Na reported that now that the 14 day quarantine period at the Central Shrimp Market in Samut Sakhon had ended people there have been color coded using cable ties.

The market was the center of the current outbreak that is hitting Thailand.

A source said that signs had gone up at  the market in Thai and Burmese that it was to remain closed until the end of January.

In addition people there who quarantined have been put into the groups and tagged:

White: Not infected, should stay home

Green: Recovered from Covid - free to move around

Red: Currently infected and due to be sent to the field hospital in the next day or two.

The media posted pictures with one person also having a number scribbled on their forearm.

Yet, no lockdown of the region. People are free to and go, and become super spreaders, throughout the nation.

What gives? All those months making things so difficult for returning expats, yet a major cluster happens, and no local lockdown? Are kids running the show?
