Thai woman providing fake stamps to Myanmar migrants is arrested

Immigration police announced the arrest of a woman in Chiang Mai who provided fake stamps to Myanmar migrants.

 

Neungruthai was using a brokers' office  as a front for her illegal activity. 

 

She surrendered to immigration police along with evidence after a search of her premises in Hang Dong. 

 

Three Myanmar people earlier were found to have fake stamps, reported Naew Na.

Was sitting outside our Immigration Office at 08:00 am awaiting opening chatting to a German National. We see the staff arriving in all sorts of newish cars and SUV's when about 08:20 a big black Mercedes parks in the compound. The German just says "he is only the 2nd in command". TW digs me in the ribs and tells us to "shut up"!

SAYS IT ALL. Don't have enough common sense to hide the corruption.

...and the Thai populace revere them as "clever" and would love to have a similar job.

 

Corruption is something to admire...if done right.
