Government deputy spokesperson Traisulee Traisoranakul said today that troops, officials from the Interior Ministry and other agencies will also help to evacuate people from hard-hit areas and speed up the discharge of flood water into the sea. MarcelV
I'm living in Narathiwat and, thank God, the town proper has no problem with flooding. All streets are keeping it dry and even the riverside boulevard is still passable as normal. Problems are mostly in Pattani and Yala as they are along the Pattani river, which is downstream from the Bang Lang Dam.

Again, a day late and a dollar short. The flooding was caused by releasing water from the dams that they should have started releasing months ago. Oddly no one is claiming responsibility.
