Personally I think he should be shamed and blamed to the the full extent of the law but unfortunately I think that is unlikely to happen.

I think the Dems (and maybe quite a few GOP) are worried about his continued influence and a run in 2024. To let him off is basically tacit approval for what he is done and would embolden both himself and his base. An example needs to be set and although it will cause problems in the short term, in the long term it's better for all.

It is, but the pickings may be getting extremely slim for Trump, as every smart lawyer knows by now not to get themselves involved with Trump. Getting disbarred is a very serious threat in that case.

Incorrect. They are going to kick him out of the club but there are no plans to disbar him.

I was misinformed.  The Bar Assn in question is a voluntary bar association in NY State, not the one that licenses lawyers.  So far Giuliani's law license is still intact.

The entire excutive,(chair/leader/major donors) of the GOP need to make a blanket statement he no has the confidence of the party.

It does look as if the Republican Party is badly split over this too.  If they come down against him in large numbers then the question is "why have you waited until now to condemn him?"
