The Governor of Rayong, Channa Iamsaeng, announced this morning that 11 new COVID-19 infections have been found in the province, raising the number to 552.

So far, only one COVID related death has been recorded in the province, 404 people have recovered and 14,341 people have been tested for the virus. The new infections appear to trace back to three large clusters.

The first is from a beer garden in Plu Taa Luang sub-district, in Sattahip district of Rayong, where five infections were found. The second came from illegal gambling dens, while the third cluster is linked to family members of the infected, who have not shown any symptoms but still refuse to get tested.
