They are victims of the pandemic that despite trying to struggle on after the first wave have been forced to close their doors. Manager at Alcazar Kittiwong Chaisuphakit said they had tried to overcome the difficulties by following the protocols and limiting performances but the complete lack of foreigners and the fact that the Thai market was not sufficient led to the closure in December. However this means that the 300 staff can get money from social security until about June when hopefully the situation will improve. At Tiffany the media found only a security guard who said the performers had gone home and they were shut temporarily. Only a few staff were coming in there.
