"Grout", for between tiles.

The Thai term for GROUT, please.  My several English-Thai dictionaries let me down on this one. 

Phonetic version please as I don't read Thai.

Of course , knowing the Thai name is most important, but even when I google something I often find that I mispronounce it , so if the purpose of wanting to know the word is because you go to the store, or communicate it with a worker, I often google the subject, choose "Images" and take a couple of pictures with my phone, 

often  times, they look at me all confused , and then when I show them the picture, they say "Ohhh....." tell me what the thing is called so I also hear how it is pronounced,  and take me to the isle where the item is located.

Technique (tekneek) grout tile.  Middle word(s) is grout (Yā næw). Last word is tile (grabeung).

 

 

I like the old flip-flop used as a squeegee.

Thanks all.  I needed to convey to the owner of the condo I rent that the bathroom floor tile needs to be re-grouted.  

Thanks to the help here I was able to get the message across and a person will be coming tomorrow to check it out.

The system that they use isn't intended to represent the correct phonetic pronunciation, so that's not really surprising.

I recommend http://thai-language.com/ the phonetic spelling is relatively accurate.
