Science workshop
I am deciding whether to go for a Visa Exempt > Ed visa............. or get a STV. With an STV it seems they are very strict......if you work with it whilst in Thailand you will be banned from Thailand If I get an Ed-Visa - can I teach in a government school/international school for a short period of time (2-3 months) without any trouble? FritsSikkink
You will need a work permit, which you won't get on an ED visa.
orchis
No. Student and teacher are two different things.
Solinvictus
Some places will be cool with you not having a work permit and other places will have strict measures to require you having the work permit. Hope you get it sorted out. I think more outspoken voices need to come out regarding how things are for teachers teaching in Thailand...
