I was sarcastic when I said I bought a 10 million BKK condo.     Who would want to live with this bad air?  The only people who will buy in Thailand need to come from a country with equal or worse air quality.      If people really knew the real health costs of this.

And to read daily the people stating how they love living in Chang mai and bkk!

I thought only traffic smog in Bangkok .  Rubbish collection weekly to every household should be compulsory throughout Thailand and that would not be difficult to arrange and to include recycle bins . Household bonfires should be banned and the underused army brought in to control farmers crop burning .

Despite government statements that they will banish vehicles that spew out clouds of carcinogenic fumes , I have not noticed any improvements and have seen such vehicles waved on at roadblocks / police checks . 

I pity folk who live in Chiang Mai districts .
