CharlieH Posted January 23, 2021 Share Posted January 23, 2021 Had something sent to me (letter)from the Midlands by tracked service at 4pm Monday, Thursday it was in Bangkok, Sat am its waiting for me to collect. 5 days ! I find that astonishing given the usual 10 day is normal experience Guess this one was in the right place at the right time. By normal (trackable) post, arrive every time in about 10 days. She first sent by Special Express post .....much more costly, still.arrived in 10 days. I think you also have to consider "final destination" as naturally Bangkok etc will be 2-3 faster than other areas of the cou try as an example. She items took longer - a Christmas pud turned up in Feb/March after being posted in late November....still edible though. Mind you our postie can't be bothered to drive up our small soi and deliver anything at all Nano zilch. useless they are. Had two Xmas cards sent to me, one from my sister in Oz Perth posted December 5th one from my brother in UK posted Dec 9th both arrived same afternoon delivery January 12th....
