rooster59
Video: "Military man" responsible for carnage that damaged vehicles and demolished restaurant in Korat. Image: Sanook Sanook reported that had been supplied with CCTV footage from a business in Nakhon Ratchasima that showed a pick-up piling into a roadside restaurant and overturning. They said that behind the wheel of the Mitsubishi Triton was a man who looked like a soldier. It happened in Decha Udom Soi 6 on Thursday evening about 9.40pm. An Altis, motorcycle with side car and other motorcycles - a total of five vehicles as well as the 3K restaurant were damaged. Maleewan, 49, owner of 3K said yesterday there had been no developments in the case. The driver responsible was recovering in a military fort hospital. She said it was lucky there were no customers on the sidewalk as she had just packed up for the night. She was losing 8,000 a day in lost revenue, she said. First Covid and now this she said as other victims too waited for compensation. DaLa
Appears to have clipped something about 15 metres before he hit the restaurant. Front offside wheel lifts off the ground and I presume the steering may have then been released from his grip.

Mister Fixit
Another one that will be hushed up because the perpetrator is in the military and no doubt at some senior rank.
